Metclean DX4853 is a mildly acidic cleaner and conditioner that contains a unique blend of mild organic acids and powerful surfactants. The gentle formulation effectively cleans and degreases the surface of metals to produce an ideal surface for paint coatings, removing any contamination that will affect coverage and promoting paint adhesion.

Metclean DX4853 is particularly suitable for use on aluminium and aluminium alloys as a pre-paint treatment. It is also compatible with other sensitive metals including zinc and brass.

Metclean DX4853 is a low foaming formulation that is compatible with most spray wash equipment set-ups. It can also be used for immersion cleaning where suitable wash tanks are available. The concentrated formulation can be diluted to suit a range of applications and can be safely heated to 70°C to increase reaction time.
