Metfin IP3504 is a concentrated liquid formulation designed to produce medium to high weight iron phosphate coatings on ferrous metals. Applied by spray or immersion it produces a high performance amorphous phosphate coating that provides excellent corrosion resistance to ferrous metals and greatly enhances the performance of applied paint finishes.

Metfin IP3504 utilises advanced Organic Accelerator technology in place of traditional heavy metal accelerators making it safer to use and more environmentally friendly than many conventional alternatives.

Metfin IP3504 can be used in conjunction with Metfin Detergent Additives range. It is especially effective when used with the phosphate detergent degreaser Metfin AD3822. Together these products can be used in multistage treatment plants to effectively clean and conversion coat ferrous metals where a single stage detergent / phosphate product is not effective. The use of separate detergent and phosphating products provides increased flexibility and allows the ratio of detergent / phosphate to be adjusted to ensure maximum efficiency and economy.
