Metsoak SV3955 is a carefully formulated blend of chlorinated and hydrocarbon solvents. It has good solvent power and evaporates dry within a few minutes leaving a residue free surface. It has a flashpoint of 65°C and so in normal use presents little fire hazard. These characteristics make it an economical general purpose solvent for many degreasing applications where “dry” water free, cleaning is required.

Metsoak SV3955 can be described as a non-conductor of electricity and therefore, particularly as it evaporates to leave a dry residue free surface, it finds extensive use for cleaning electrical equipment.

Metsoak SV3955 is suitable for use on all metals, glass, enamel, tile, wood and concrete surfaces, care should be taken however with varnished, painted, rubber and plastic surfaces as certain of these may be adversely affected.
