Metsolv 4014 is a non-flammable, quick drying chlorinated solvent with exceptional solvent power. It is based on Methylene Chloride, a very small penetrative molecule which is capable of penetrating greases and oils.

Metsolv 4014 finds widespread application for cold degreasing applications, where quick drying of components is essential. Due to it’s high Kauri Butanol value (solvent power) the product is also used for many difficult cleaning tasks including the removal of ink, adhesives, tar, gum and resins deposits.

Metsolv 4014 is suitable for use on all metals, glass, wood, enamel and concrete surfaces, care should be taken however with vanish, painted, resin, rubber and plastic surfaces as certain of these will be adversely affected.
