Metspray AK3814 is a mildly alkaline spray wash cleaner designed for use on sensitive metal alloys. It contains an advanced blend of surfactants and mild alkalis designed to remove oils, greases and soils typically encountered in engineering and maintenance industries. The built-in corrosion inhibitors prevent attack on the base metal ensuring that the formulation is safe to use on sensitive metals including aluminium, zinc and zinc coated steel.

Metspray AK3814 is typically applied by spray in dedicated spray wash plants. The concentrated formulation is economical to use and can be readily diluted to suit a range of applications. It can be used at ambient temperatures or heated up to 80°C to increase penetration on areas with heavy contamination. The liquid formulation is also compatible with automatic dosing equipment allowing for maximum control over working solution concentration and ensuring a consistent finish every time.

Metspray AK3814 contains a specially designed corrosion inhibition package that makes it compatible with most sensitive metals. It is not suitable for use on copper or copper alloys which will undergo severe attack on contact.
