Metspray AK3848 is medium duty liquid spray wash detergent designed to remove swarf, oils, greases, and general soils typically encountered in manufacturing and engineering environments. It contains an advanced blend of alkali builders, sequestrants, corrosion inhibitors and biodegradable surfactants that provide excellent cleaning performance even at low temperatures. Its low foaming characteristics make it particularly useful for spray washing applications where very low levels of foam are required.

Metspray AK3848 contains a specially designed corrosion inhibition package that imparts a rust inhibiting coating to ferrous metals for short term corrosion resistance when used without a rinse. The caustic free formulation makes it compatible with most sensitive metals. It is not suitable for use on copper or copper alloys which will undergo severe attack on contact.

Metspray AK3848 has been specifically designed to be used in spray wash equipment and the liquid formulation is compatible with automatic dosing equipment. It can be used at ambient temperatures or heated up to 80°C to increase penetration on areas with heavy contamination.
