Metspray AK3851 is a caustic free, medium duty spray wash detergent powder designed to remove the lubricant residues, swarf and baked on soils typically found in manufacturing and reconditioning industries. It has been designed as a 100% active powdered product and contains a special blend of mild alkalis, advanced surfactants, and wetting agents that can penetrate and remove most commonly encountered soils to leave a clean residue free finish.

Metspray AK3851 is suitable for use on ferrous metals, copper, and brass. Where a slight etch is not critical it can be used on sensitive metals including aluminium, zinc, and their alloys however care should be taken to ensure components are not exposed for too long. The degree of etch will depend on product concentration, solution temperature and contact time and it is recommended that testing is carried out to determine material compatibility prior to use.

Metspray AK3851 can be used as an additive in other Metspray products to improve oil dispersal, penetrating power, and bath life of the working solution. For more information contact your Orapi Applied representative.
